Place is our North Star, our guiding light. The River North Community Foundation region serves the Metro North Health Catchment.
We cover the City of Moreton Bay, Brisbane North and parts of Brisbane Inner City, Brisbane West.
We recognise there is already a strong foundation of data and insight about our region—through sources like Brisbane North PHN, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Queensland Government Statistician’s Office, and local councils.
We aim to build on this by understanding the work already underway—what’s working, what’s needed, and who is part of the ecosystem that shapes our region.
Alongside data, we prioritise real conversations and connections—listening to lived experiences, community voices, and on-the-ground perspectives.
By balancing quantitative evidence with qualitative insights, we develop a deeper, more human understanding of place—ensuring our actions are informed, relevant, and grounded in the realities of the communities we serve.
